Estuary Tour News!

Some new exciting marine creatures have been seen in the last few weeks on the estuary tours. These include  Sea Mice, Sea Hare (which was a first for one of our onsite researchers Daan Van Duinkerken who has just returned from Holland to do his PHD), and lots of different starfish - some up to 500mm in size!

Our female visitors still love the pansy shells and all the other types of shells on the sand islands, and the kids have also been thoroughly enjoying snorkelling in the lovely warm summer waters.

The local dhows are steadily reporting good catches of squid and karapau (small sardines).
